Johnny Motley

Johnny Motley is a New York-based journalist writing about travel, restaurants, spirits and fashion. After graduating from Harvard College, Motley taught religious studies in Texas for several years. In his free time, Motley enjoys reading poetry and literature, practicing Portuguese, and playing guitar. He won a Solas Award in the men's travel category for his memoirs about traveling through the Amazon. He contributes to Global Traveler, BBC, CNN, Matador, Paste, CoolMaterial and other publications.
