The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is excited to invite guests to celebrate Halloween with the Rise of the Phoenix, a week-long celebration held Oct. 26–Nov. 1. The celebration is inspired by the mythical phoenix and its journey of transformation, resilience and renewal. Phoenix feathers emerge as the tropical greens change to warm autumn colors.
Halloween Science and Discovery with TheDadLab
Taking center stage in the family program is Sergei Urban, the visionary creator of TheDadLab, as he returns for a special Halloween residency. Sergei turns science into hands-on discovery, bringing the spirit of the phoenix to life through a series of interactive experiments at Ritz Kids. Each afternoon features a different laboratory, including Candy Lab, exploring the science behind Halloween sweets, and Haunted Lab, transforming science into a friendly graveyard of ghosts, worms and spooky surprises.
Three-Michelin-Starred Excellence Arrives in the Maldives
Chef Jean-Philippe Blondet of the three-Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester in London will be at the hotel for two exclusive evenings. The chef brings his contemporary French dishes to the Maldives with distinctive flavors, fresh ingredients and one-of-a-kind twists. On Oct. 28, The Art of Savoir-Faire takes over La Locanda for an intimate Michelin Table by Chef Blondet, highlighting his signature cuisine through a set menu.
The next night, A Dialogue of Flavors takes place at the Summer Pavilion, the resort’s Cantonese restaurant. Chef Blondet joins Chef David for an exclusive dinner where French refinement meets Cantonese cuisine through a collaborative menu and interactive culinary experience.
The Rise of the Phoenix
Throughout the week, families are invited to participate in a variety of activities like coral, planting, reef discovery, snorkeling, restorative yoga, spa rituals and seasonal workshops. The celebration ends Oct. 31 on Recreation Beach for the Phoenix Carnival, featuring festive flavors and live entertainment.
