Kick off the holiday season with a family-fun trip to Virginia Beach. All season long the destination will be jampacked with holiday activities.

The Lights of Christmas at Virginia Beach KOA

The magic of this elaborate display of lights will shine at the popular Virginia Beach campground Nov. 12, 2021–Jan. 2, 2022. The lights are synchronized to your favorite holiday songs through the car radio. After the show, explore the Christmas Village.

Bayport Credit Union Holiday Lights at the Beach

Embark on a magical journey through Virginia Beach Boardwalk’s festive holiday lights display from the comfort and warmth of your car.  Enjoy the dazzling lights with a holiday soundtrack. Travelers can expect colorful fish, dancing crabs and elves as they join a surfing Santa and a new 40-foot Christmas tree in the “Fanta-Sea” of lights.

The Holidays at Town Center

The Town Center is filled with holiday spirit, where guests can enjoy a nightly Dancing Northern Lights Tree, Selfie Stations with decorative ribbon and holiday photo frames and more. There is something there for the whole family to get in the holiday spirit.

The Cavalier’s Annual Holiday Grand Reveal

On Nov. 27, The Cavalier Hotel kicks off its holiday season with a magical winter wonderland and its annual Holiday Grand Revel. Celebrate with carolers, ballet dancers and Santa himself. The big man will be available for pictures all night long while guests can enjoy specialty drinks and hot chocolate in the Raleigh Room.

Sensory-Friendly Morning at the Virginia Aquarium

On Dec. 11, the aquarium will open early and exclusively for individuals and families wanting a quieter experience with soft lighting, limited sounds and other modifications. Guests can enjoy the exhibits and animals at their own pace and enjoy a comfortable experience, ideal for all types of visitors.

Santa Slumber Party at The Founders Inn

Families can enjoy a cozy, festive getaway at The Founders Inn and Spa. The package includes a personalized letter from Santa, a milk and cookie turndown service and more. Rooms start at $99 per night, making it the perfect place to stay before the Breakfast with Santa event, also held at the hotel.
