Take advantage of North Myrtle Beach’s oceanfront location and explore its waterfront dining options. Open for more than 30 years, Joe’s Bar & Grill is known for its steakhouse fare. Head to Flying Fish for seafood dishes alongside waterfront views.

 

With a constantly growing restaurant scene, there are many new spots to check out. Popular Italian restaurant Crave celebrates its first summer season. Delight in traditional Mexican fare at Don Chemas. Sports bar and restaurant The Twisted Penguin offers live music alongside classic pub fare. Enjoy wine and tapas-inspired bites at brand-new Bin 2004.

The annual SeptemberFest! will be held Sept. 21. This event includes a grape stomp and family-friendly activities. Celebrate Crooktoberfest at Crooked Hammock Brewery, Sept. 22–Oct. 8. The festival offers daily activities including beer trivia, new beer releases, live polka music, crafts for kids and German fare. The unique Irish Italian International Festival honors Irish and Italian culture Sept. 28 through music, food and the popular spaghetti-eating contest. Barefoot Landing hosts an Oktoberfest celebration Oct. 5, with German- and fall-themed experiences. Enjoy local seafood at Little River Shrimp Fest. Held Oct. 12–13, the food festival also features live music and a variety of vendors.
