Family travelers headed to Boston are in for a treat, with yummy brunch specials offered at signature rooftop restaurant Contessa. Overlooking Boston Public Garden with views of the Back Bay, this restaurant promises delicious bites and sweeping sights of the city from the 17th floor of The Newbury Boston.
Open daily to the public for all-day service, the dining venue only serves brunch specials on weekends and Monday holidays. It is highly recommended to make a reservation as tables tend to fill up rather quickly.
Channeling inspiration from the grand villas of Northern Italy, Contessa chefs combine the city’s Italian-American heritage through its delicious flavors, visually appealing dishes and a beautifully decorated venue.
From smoked salmon carpaccio to carbonara scramble, guests can expect a sophisticated twist on basic breakfast dishes. With fresh ingredients imported daily from Italy, Contessa sets the bar for guests’ expectations. Many kid-friendly dishes are also available, including my favorite: Panettone French toast, described as the classic Milan never had.
Explore more of what Boston has to offer with a post-brunch stroll through the city’s Public Garden or a visit to Downtown Crossing, where many department stores and retail shops reside.
