and Scalesia Galapagos Lodge partnered to offer guests a one-of-a-kind Galapagos glamping experience. The week-long trip brings travelers from Quito, Ecuador, to Isabela Island and Santa Cruz Island.

Perfect for a multigenerational adventure, the trip kicks off in Quito with a private transfer to accommodations at Casa Gangotena in the heart of Old City. Enjoy the property’s amenities or explore Quito’s cultural attractions. Next, guests travel to Isabela Island via a twin-engine light aircraft to Scalesia Galapagos Lodge. There are 16 safari-style tents available. Guests spend days two–four of the trip at the lodge. Choose from a variety of activities, including hiking, volcano visits, snorkeling and wildlife viewing.

On day five, transfer to Santa Cruz Island, the most populated island in the Galapagos. Finch Bay Galapagos Hotel is located here with views of lush greenery and the waters of Punta Estrada. Explore the nearby islands on a motor yacht tour with a naturalist on day six. Enjoy a three-course meal on the beach for dinner. On day seven, spend time at Divine Bay for snorkeling. The area is a prime location for wildlife viewing, including various birds, turtles, fish, sharks and rays. Depart for home day eight.

Pricing starts at $4,658 per person based on double occupancy.

Fort Lauderdale Just Got a Lot More Accessible for Families

Fort Lauderdale is already known for great weather and great beaches, but for family travelers who need accessible destinations, the city just got even better. Greater Fort Lauderdale recently collaborated with KultureCity, a nonprofit organization working to increase sensory awareness, accessibility and inclusiveness in public spaces. Through this partnership, the Greater Fort Lauderdale area has recently become the world’s first KultureCity-certified sensory accessible and inclusive beach destination. While that title is bit of a mouthful, it means great things for families traveling with special needs.

Best of Both Worlds

Enjoy the best of both worlds when you fly with TAP Air Portugal thanks to the Portugal Stopover program. With the program, TAP passengers, whether traveling for business, leisure or both, can stop in Portugal for up to 10 days at no additional airfare on the way to their final destination. What does this mean for travelers wishing to explore by both land and sea? It means after flying to Portugal with TAP and experiencing the country in an entirely new way, travelers can then embark on scenic river and ocean cruises from  Portugal’s port cities, or fly with TAP to another European destination.

On Location: Experience The Real-Life Settings of Your Favorite Films and TV Shows

Set-jetting is more than just a cute play on words. It’s a travel concept that lets you visit the real-life settings of some of your favorite movies and television shows. At one time you had to go someplace like Universal Studios in Hollywood to visit your favorite movie and television show sets. While you can still take studio tours (the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London is the place to go if you are a diehard fan of the Harry Potter franchise), these days there are filming locations all over the world, and the tourism industry makes visiting them in person as easy as buying a plane ticket.
