Fairmont Hotels & Resorts properties across the globe go above and beyond this holiday season to make it the most memorable one yet for family travelers. Encouraging families to slow down, reconnect with one another and savor this joyous time of year, Fairmont presents “Wrapped in the Moment.”
Thanks to the brand’s multiyear global partnership with Make-A-Wish, guests help bring joy to children with critical illness by purchasing an official holiday postcard featuring designs and artwork created by a Make-A-Wish child. Proceeds of each sale go toward the organization; Fairmont Austin is just one hotel offering the postcards this holiday season.
Additional craft experiences include chocolate bark making at Fairmont Chateau Whistler, ceramic painting at Fairmont Tremblant, ornament making at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel and gingerbread house creations with hotel chefs at Fairmont Amman. Families can spend quality time participating in guided workshops led by local artisans at many participating locations.
Magical visits from Mr. and Mrs. Claus are a must, with photo opportunities, daily story time and a special Christmas Eve reading of The Night Before Christmas at Fairmont Grand Del Mar.
Relax by the fire at Fairmont Le Château Montebello, where the hotel invites guests to play Scrabble and chess in its log lobby, complemented by seasonal cocktails and hot cocoa.
