A new, unique adventure at East Broad Top Railroad awaits family travelers this summer. The little engine arrives at Orbisonia Station to welcome families on a sweet, hot fudge sundae-filled adventure that perfectly mixes summer fun with education. On select Sundays (including June 29, July 20 and Aug. 10), take a vintage train ride filled with delicious ice cream sundaes. The Sundae Special experience departs Orbisonia Station at 3 p.m. for a 90-minute, 9-mile ride through Aughwick Valley, Pennsylvania.
Throughout the ride, families can marvel at the beautiful, rural Pennsylvania scenery before the ride stops at Colgate Grove picnic area, where passengers hop off for a relaxing visit filled with ice cream courtesy of The Little Creamer and sponsored by Allied Milk Producers.
This family-friendly experience is perfect for kids and adults alike. On select Sundays, there will also be special appearances by local Dairy Princesses, adding a festive touch and community spirit to the experience.
Prices start at $20 for adults and $12 for children; prices vary on cabin class. Classes include enclosed passenger cars, open-air cars or the caboose. To ensure your spot and preferred class, reservations are strongly encouraged. Book here.
