This holiday season, The Westin London City invites family travelers to celebrate an enchanted woodland via a unique themed afternoon tea experience. The Christmas in the Woods afternoon tea is perfect for families, as the kids will especially love the fairytale-esque decorations and atmosphere.
Available through Jan. 5, this tea experience takes place in Mosaic, the hotel’s on-site, all-day dining destination. This holiday afternoon tea features a Christmas tree taking center stage in the restaurant, accompanying a rich menu of loose-leaf teas, sandwiches, pastries and scones.
Choose from a selection of 10 teas sourced from JING Tea. Sandwiches include roasted turkey with cranberries, wild mushroom and chestnut puree, and chili-smoked brisket on a house roll. Scones are freshly baked and come plain or with raisins, served with clotted cream and blackcurrant jam.
Desserts include pine brownie cake, pistachio and cranberry cupcake, and caramel coconut wood rolls, all of which tie into the woodsy theme.
This afternoon tea also offers a specially crafted kids’ menu for a reduced price.
The Westin London City, boasting views of the Thames River, features 226 guestrooms, suites and residences; a panoramic bar; pet-friendly guestrooms; Heavenly Spa by Westin; and a fitness center.
