A trip to Sesame Place in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, should be at the top of your family travel bucket list. Elmo and his friends come to life with lots of fun on Sesame Street. With a variety of rides, shows, attractions and more, there is something that will meet the interest of every type of traveler. Over the next few weeks, dedicate a weekend to party during Elmo’s Furry Fun Fest.
On Feb. 26 and 27, celebrate Mardi Gras on Sesame Street. Having debuted earlier this month, the colorful, musical parade celebrates the holiday with festively decorated floats and your favorite characters dressed up and ready to party. The floats are decorated purple, gold and green and adorned with some of the most sparkly decorations you’ve ever seen. To see the parade schedule and more happening during the Mardi Gras celebration, make sure to download the app.
If you visit on March 5, 6, 12 or 13, make sure to dress in your best green outfit to kick off the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with Elmo and friends. Later in March, the furry friends throw a pajama-themed birthday party for their friend Big Bird!
Although there will be special events for these celebrations, through March 20, guests can visit the all-new Winter Family Zone and enjoy fire pits, s’mores and yard games. The Sunny Day Carousel will be open; Elmo the Musical, LIVE! is back for the first time in two years; and there will be many mini parades for guests to enjoy.
