Want the fun of camping with the luxury of room service? The Grand Hyatt Taipei’s Family Adventure Package is for you. Enjoy the cozy family bonding of a tent, floor bedding and campfire stories from the temperature-controlled, 5-star hotel room.
Whether traveling for business or a full-blown family vacation, the Grand Hyatt boasts family-friendly fun for the youngest travelers. Perfect for kids aged 3 to 6, the Family Adventure Package comes with all the essentials. From featherbeds, pillows and plush toys — a keepsake for the kids to take home — and a battery-operated lantern, picnic table and planetarium projector showcasing the starry-night sky indoors, kids will be more than ready for their big camping night in.
Snuggle with the kids under the tent or let them take on the night alone from the luxury of your separate king-sized bedroom. You’ll know the kids are safe in the hotel, just a few feet away, while they’re actually off in a make-believe camping world enjoying the illusion of adventure and independence.

Don’t worry about taking down the tent and packing up the campsite in the morning, housekeeping can take care of that for you — don’t expect that type of treatment in the wild.
The Family Adventure Package is only available for guests staying in a Grand Executive Suite, $580 per night, including two Easycards. Valuing NT$100 (USD $3.32) per card, use the Easycards to rent a bicycle with YouBike, purchase tickets at Taipei Metro or enjoy the Taipei zoo.
In keeping with the luxury camping theme, head to the Oasis Swimming Pool and enjoy the great outdoors in a 5-star setting. Enjoy private yoga classes in the fresh air, or head to the Café for some refreshments after swimming.
You’re in Taipei so try not to spend the whole day in the hotel — although, you easily could. Get out and about with the city at your feet, as the Grand Hyatt’s location is pretty ideal for families looking to explore. Just a short walk from Elephant Mountain hiking trails, strap on your shoes and get some exercise with the kids while enjoying the sights. Rent a bike and ride the short distance to the Tamsui river and explore Daan Forest Park.
Your family will enjoy the best of both luxury accommodations and natural beauty all in one trip.
