Wisconsin Dells has long been a family favorite when it comes to summer fun. From waterparks and amusement parks to petting zoos, museums and everything in between, the Dells have a reputation of offering non-stop adventure, but to experience the latest updates to this cherished destination, head to Noah’s Ark Waterpark to find out what’s new.

Ranking in the top five of all U.S. waterparks, Noah’s Ark recently added a new attraction to its lineup of rides and waterslides. The Chameleon debuts just in time for the 2023 summer season. The ride completely transformed a park favorite, Flying Gecko, by adding 78 color-changing lights and a customized soundtrack pumping through eight speakers located along the course of the ride.

The result is an immersive sensory experience using something known as iSlide technology to create a different combination of light and sound on every ride. Groups of four ride a raft along a 520-foot route in an immersive sensory experience that is the first of its kind for the Wisconsin Dells and perfect for families of all ages.

The new Chameleon experience is a great addition to the country’s largest waterpark, which continues to make great advancements for its park visitors, such as the new cashless system. With this new system, all transactions made within the park only debit cards, credit cards and electronic payments like Apple Pay and Google Pay being accepted. There are convenient kiosks located throughout the park allowing guests to convert cash into a prepaid electronic payment card and to streamline all transactions.

What is a Salvaged Stay and How to Plan One

Salvaged stays are an emerging trend in travel that let family travelers enjoy a unique way to experience a destination. Rather than staying in a destination’s big-ticket resort hotel or a cookie-cutter vacation rental, travelers look to the world’s repurposed properties, like abandoned mills and defunct train stations-turned-hotels that have found new life. These renovated properties are a lesson in sustainability and give families a chance to discover a unique view of the history of a destination.
