It’s not too early to look ahead to winter and holiday family travel. North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, announced its 2024 holiday event lineup, offering families festive activities and experiences all season long.
Great Christmas Light Show (November–December)
This annual 2-mile drive-through light show takes place at North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. The dazzling display features more than 2 million lights on 500 displays.
Dashing Through the Glow (Nov. 22 and 23)
Participate in the 2-mile walk/run through the Great Christmas Light Show course. Wear a holiday-themed outfit for a chance to win a prize. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate when you complete the course.
Lighting at the Landing (Nov. 23)
Kick off the holiday season at Barefoot Landing for the annual tree lighting show, followed by fireworks. Stay after the show for visits with Santa until 8 p.m.
McLean Park Tree Lighting (Dec. 3)
Head to McLean Park for the annual City Christmas Tree lighting along with performances, music, refreshments and activities.
North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade (Dec. 7)
This annual parade route follows along Main Street with light-up floats, cars, bands, golf carts and more.
Throughout November and December, check out iconic holiday shows including Alabama Theater Presents The South’s Grandest Christmas Show, Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre Christmas on Main Show, Carolina Opry Christmas Special and 40th Annual All City Christmas Cantata.
