Blue Mountain Resort and Camelback Resort, both located in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, are ready to host family travelers for an exciting 2025/2026 winter season. Both debut major enhancements, upgraded snowmaking systems, new dining and apres-ski experiences, and more. Blue Mountain will open for the season Nov. 28, withCamelback on Dec.12.
Travelers at Blue Mountain Resort will have access to the resort’s 171 skiable acres across 40 trails. This season, the resort debuts new installations including TechnoAlpin TT10 tower-mounted fan guns at the base area and two mobile, fully automated TR10 fan guns, both designed to deliver faster, more efficient snow. Additionally, four key trails have received an underground piping upgrade to help boost water flow and snowmaking capacity.
Camelback Resort offers 560 acres of winter terrain and family-friendly fun. This season, the resort made upgrades to the lift and snowmaking systems, such as the high-speed Stevenson Lift, making the ride smoother and more reliable. The snowmaking system got new high-pressure feed and summit supply lines to deliver faster and automated snow coverage. The resort also added 32 HKD Klik auto hydrants and 32 HKD Impulse stick guns for improved snow quality across the trails.

In addition to these new improvements, both resorts offer guests of all ages the chance to learn and become more confident on the slopes. At Blue Mountain Resort, the award-winning Learning Center offers one-hour beginner lessons that include a lift ticket, rentals and a 90-minute “Explorers” lesson. Over at Camelback, the Ski & Ride Academy offers adult 90-minute group lessons, senior clinics in January and February, and multiweek programs for kids aged 7–14 to practice and work on their new skill.
Looking to ski multiple times this winter? Consider getting a season pass. Both resorts are affiliated with the Ikon Pass program, allowing skiers to have access to more than 60 destinations worldwide. Winter sport lovers can check out different pass options for different levels of access. The premium pass offers unlimited skiing at specific resorts and up to seven days at others, while a base pass offers fewer days and some blackout dates. For those looking to just stick to Blue Mountain or Camelback, each resort offers its own value- and perk-added passes, and include unlimited skiing and lift access.
