This autumn, SeaWorld San Diego embraces Halloween fun, from Baby Shark and trick-or-treating by day to haunted houses and some serious scares by night. All of this and more kicks off Sept. 11 with Halloween Spooktacular.
In addition to returning favorites, the event also debuts the all-new Baby Shark Halloween Show, exclusive to SeaWorld San Diego. Other family-friendly events include eight candy stations from which families can trick-or-treat, as well as the new Coral Candy Club Dance Party.
Kids can meet Spookley the Square Pumpkin and magical mermaids, snap fall photos at the waterfront pumpkin patch overlooking Mission Bay, and take on a Halloween scavenger hunt. As a bonus, kids ages 3–9 go free with the purchase of a $99.99 adult ticket through October.

As the sun sets, the park transforms into a scare zone for older guests. Howl-O-Scream also returns Sept. 11 with its biggest lineup in event history, complete with six haunted houses, new scare zones, live entertainment, themed bars and rollercoasters in the dark.
One of this year’s biggest additions is a new haunted house inspired by I Know What You Did Last Summer, bringing visitors face to face with the Fisherman and into scenes from the iconic horror film.
