Terranea Resort will transform into a coastal holiday destination with a season full of festive experiences for all types of family travelers. The celebrations begin Nov. 29 with the resort’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, featuring caroling, dance performances, Santa photo opportunities and the return of the Gingerbread Lounge, a whimsical installation with a functional bar and additional visits with Santa.

Throughout December, the Deck Your Stay offerings add holiday décor and seasonal touches to guestroom accommodations:
- The Standard ($504) package provides a front door natural wreath with orange slices, cinnamon sticks, seed pods and ribbon; medium decorated centerpiece; luxury sweets; and mistletoe.
- The Deluxe ($1,500) features choice of Evergreen, Pinot or Cotier Blue Collection and includes one front door wreath; one large, one medium and two small centerpieces; luxury sweets; velvet or Corsair table runner; dining set for four including napkins, napkin rings and chargers; and mistletoe.
- A la Carte decorative choices are six-foot natural garland ($250); poinsettia-lined entrance to your bungalow, casita or villa ($150); additional dining settings ($75 per setting); and Elf on the Shelf wrapped in a box (not the elf experience).

Dec. 1–24, families can join the Search for Terra, Terranea’s playful Elf on the Shelf, with daily clues guiding guests to discover Terra in new settings across the resort. Additional programming includes classic holiday movie nights, a Winter Solstice nature hike, Kids Club activities, a Christmas Eve reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and festive dining experiences.
