- Wyoming State Capitol enhanced its educational, self-guided tour with the addition of informational kiosks.
- Derby Lanes, the family-friendly entertainment center at Derby Club 307, opened a new bowling alley.

- Two entertainment venues open this year: Thunder Plains, Wyoming’s first full-sized horse racing track; and Horse Palace at Swan Ranch, measuring 30,000 square feet.
- Cheyenne’s emerging wine scene includes The Blue Stem Wine House, offering handcrafted wines and ciders; Vintages, made by Canadian-Italian micro-batch custom winemaker Lino Di Pelice; and distilleries like Chronicles Distilling, Pine Bluffs Distilling and more.
- Capitol Avenue Bronze Project brings more than 36 signature painted big boots to the area’s street corners.
- Westward offers a contemporary western art gallery and boutique to the growing arts scene downtown.
- Alexis Drake, a local handbag and accessories brand, launches a home product line.
