WinterWonderGrass Steamboat, Coletrain Music Academy to Offer All-Ages Music Workshops

Family travelers with a musical inclination may want to pair upcoming travel with the 13^th annual WinterWonderGrass Steamboat, Feb. 27–March 1. Every year, Camp Coletrain, a two-day immersive acoustic music workshop presented in partnership with Coletrain Music Academy, proves one of the most inspiring on-site experiences. It includes hands-on workshops for kids and adults of all skill levels.

An all-star lineup of instructors will be on hand this year, including Coleman Smith of Yonder Mountain String Band, Thom LaFond and Jason Bertone of Banshee Tree, and Kay McKenzie of Little Moon Travelers and Deer Creek Sharp Shooters. Sessions are held Feb. 28 and March 1, before the festival opens at Steamboat Grand Hotel. Adults, teens and children ages 6–12 can participate in Camp Coletrain for an opportunity to learn, play and grow in a music-filled environment. Sponsorships, courtesy of Town Hall Outdoor Co, are available for a select number of participants. Camp Coletrain is free for WinterWonderGrass ticket holders.
