With the average price of a romantic dinner for two coming in at less than $20, that leaves you with plenty of cash to spend on the nearly 300 couple-friendly activities you can do in the area, like releasing floating lanterns on Hoai River.

Bali, Indonesia, grabbed the second spot on the list and, although you’ll spend a bit more on a 5-star hotel stay (averaging $283 a night), there are some pretty incredible honeymoon activities that make Bali a great value. Couples can enjoy private volcano hikes, couples’ massages on the beach, and sacred water purification ceremonies, just to name a few of the nearly 700 options you can explore.

Madeira, Portugal, came it at No. 3 with 5-star resort stay available for as low as $152 a night. Pair that with romantic dinners for an average of $27 and the fact this island destination is considered one of the safest places in Europe, and you’ll find Madeira hard to resist.

There are other great destinations that made the cut, like Crete, Phuket, Cape Town and Cappadocia, so you can go ahead and plan a few extra surprises for the wedding reception without having to compromise on a great honeymoon after the big day.
