San Luis Obispo County is famous for its regional wines and there are more than ample opportunities to experience it at one of the many local wineries in town. Visit one of the tasting rooms, like Cuatro Dias or Chateu Margene, or stop in at one of the many bars and pubs along the waterfront to enjoy some local dishes and live entertainment.

If noisy crowds and dining out cramp your romantic style then pick up some sandwiches at one of the local bakeries like La Pariesienne (a great place to fuel up in the morning with a buttery croissant and cup of aromatic coffee), grab a blanket and hit the beach with a bottle of wine for a picnic on the sand.
