Camelback Resort, in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, recently completed its first phase of a resort-wide transformation. A year-round recreational destination, Camelback offers skiing, snowboarding, snowtubing, waterparks, zip lining, a mountain coaster and more. The first phase of the renovation updated guestrooms, resort branding and dining experiences.
All 453 guest suites boast vibrant pops of color, rustic furnishings, modern fabrics and polished marble. Top nature and landscape photographers captured Poconos nature scenes, and the images now adorn guestrooms and corridors.
Various restaurants underwent a remodel, marking Camelback as a Pocono Mountain destination for fun eating and drinking experiences. Graffiti Pizza now features custom wall coverings designed by up-and-coming artist and former NFL running back Baron Batch. At the new Sugar Shack, guests can indulge their sweet tooth, while the former FlyBoys swim-up bar at Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark is now Oasis, providing an adults-only retreat with exotic cocktails and rums.
The newly enhanced Camelback Ski & Ride Academy has dedicated locations for its four instructional programs: SnowClub Kids, SnowPro Groups, SnowPro Private and Snow Coaching at Coolmoor Run. The new Sunbowl quad lifts transport singles or groups of no more than four across the mountain to Camelback Mountain Village. Sunbowl Trail was widened and snowmaking systems upgraded. Additionally, SnowClub at Adventure Basecamp, a ski school, was redesigned.
Guests will see new branding throughout the experience, from the website and logo to the signage and messaging on property. The new app allows guests to plan their days at the resort.
