JetClass Gets Your Family to Its Destination in Style

Nothing says luxury travel like a private jet, but for most travelers, that means subscribing to a service they probably won’t use often enough to make it worthwhile. Enter JetClass, a non-subscription jet-sharing service offering seven new routes across Europe, for a total of 90 European flights in all. Best of all, you won’t have to sell a kidney to afford the promotional starting price of less than $500 per ticket.

JetClass serves some of Europe’s most popular European routes, such as Zurich–Brussels, Geneva–Paris and Basel–Milan.

While the routes were designed to cater to business travelers, the service offers a more flexible experience for anyone looking to avoid commercial airlines, especially on short-haul flights within Europe. This option could work especially well for executives looking to bring the kids along on a European trip.

The idea is to make luxury affordable, according to Wagas Ali, chief executive officer and co-founder, JetClass. “We are creating a brand new tier of air travel bringing private jets to the masses and making them affordable to most of the travelers in Europe.”

Why does the private jet experience work so well in Europe? For one thing, flights

depart from and arrive into smaller, fully-serviced air terminals, which means you can avoid the bedlam of some of the continent’s most overcrowded commercial airports.

In addition, travelers can skip the endlessly long lines both when boarding and when waiting in baggage claim. The service was also created to counter the diminishing quality of the in-flight experience, which, for a lot of us, tarnished the fun of flying. Add to that the fact business-class seats are getting scarcer — and never mind trying to snag an upgrade — and charters are expensive and can be impractical, and you get the idea. Finally, the flight times on a private jet tend to be faster, which means less time traveling and more time on the ground at your destination.

Starting February 2018, JetClass connected Zurich with Milan, Luxembourg, Vienna and Munich; and Milan with Geneva, Basel, Zurich and Nice. Some existing routes, such as Zurich–Brussels, Brussels–London and Paris–Geneva, are still in operation.

“With different trip options, you may depart in the morning and fly back in the evening, or fly on Monday and fly back on Thursday or Friday. We also focus on destinations that are not connected at all by commercial airlines, for example, Basel–Milan,” Ali said.

Children older than 2 are welcome on all flights, but passengers wishing to fly with an infant younger than that may be able to do so with advance confirmation from customer care at least a week before the flight.
