Parents

Parents-to-be, this one is for you: Da Nang, Vietnam’s, TIA Wellness Resort is offering a new babymoon package, with a three-night stay designed to help couples relax, connect and explore.

The new stay option blends leisure time for two with experiences that ease the body and mind stresses that come with pregnancy. Each guest enjoys 80 minutes of wellness treatments per night; more than a dozen of the therapies are suited to pregnancy. Some of these include the 80-minute Tropical Bliss therapy that includes a gentle coconut scrub followed by a coconut oil massage and a 50-minute Deep Tissue Leg Recovery that combines deep-tissue techniques and gentle stretches.

A private yoga session for two helps ease muscular discomfort and calm the nervous system, while a private breath-work class helps clear the mind, reduce stress and introduces an easily accessible wellbeing tool. Signature creativity workshops use art as a tool for reflection and self-discovery, and are also part of the babymoon stay.

Accommodations in a one-bedroom pool villa will be adorned with decorations, including teddy bear baby gifts, themed pillows, rose petals, a moon-themed cake, and imagery to celebrate the couple and their impending arrival.

Fort Lauderdale Just Got a Lot More Accessible for Families

Fort Lauderdale is already known for great weather and great beaches, but for family travelers who need accessible destinations, the city just got even better. Greater Fort Lauderdale recently collaborated with KultureCity, a nonprofit organization working to increase sensory awareness, accessibility and inclusiveness in public spaces. Through this partnership, the Greater Fort Lauderdale area has recently become the world’s first KultureCity-certified sensory accessible and inclusive beach destination. While that title is bit of a mouthful, it means great things for families traveling with special needs.
