AccessibleGO Expands to Become First One-Stop Shop for Travelers with Disabilities

AccessibleGO, the leading accessible travel platform, unveiled a series of enhanced services to make all aspects of travel more accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities.

In addition to hotels, customers can now book flights, rental cars with hand controls, wheelchair vans, mobility rentals and concierge ride services for wheelchair-accessible vehicles in one place.

The help goes beyond the initial reservation. Once a reservation is final, an accessibleGO team member contacts the provider to confirm accessibility requests can be accommodated. This helps provide peace of mind for customers and their travel companions that their specific needs will be met.

New features on accessibleGO.com include:

• Car Rentals: Customers can request unique accessibility features, including car hand controls and spinner knobs. These will be confirmed on the reservation by accessibleGO within five business days.
• Wheelchair Van Rentals: Customers have access to the widest national coverage of wheelchair van rentals thanks to agreements with national and regional partners.
• Mobility Rentals: Through a partnership with Scootaround, customers can now book mobility products like scooters, wheelchairs, hoyer lifts, hospital beds and recliners.
• Concierge Ride Services for Wheelchair-Accessible Vehicles: In partnership with Jayride, accessibleGO now offers wheelchair-accessible rides, including airport transfers, hotel pickups and general travel services.
