Family travels don’t necessarily need to be in theme parks or resorts with massive kids’ clubs. In fact, more upscale properties across the world cater to both adults and kids, and wellbeing brand Sensei joins the growing trend of family wellness travel. Sensei’s Wellness Science team, led by Dr. Vishal Patel, emphasizes the importance of family travels and exposing young travelers to wellness pursuits. Developing healthy habits at a young age can have long-lasting effects on an individual’s life, and bonding via family trips alleviates some of the main drivers of loneliness and isolation.

Sensei’s two wellness retreats, Sensei Porcupine Creek and Sensei Lāna’i, A Four Seasons Resort, offer accommodations and wellness programs for guests aged 16 and up, perfect for families with older children.
Whether families seek a multigen escape or mother-daughter bonding vacation, Sensei resorts provides families with an array of programs focusing on individual health, relationships and joint wellbeing goals.

Additionally, this spring, Sensei teams up with Four Seasons Resort and Residence Anguilla for a three-week pop-up, March 1–22, for guests to enjoy a range of wellness and spa experiences. From rotating fitness and meditation classes to restorative spa treatments, guests are fully immersed in a wellbeing experience.
And, for the first time ever, Sensei will offer a low-impact, 60-minute Sensei Family Aqua Fit class at the Anguilla property, giving guests the chance to maximize the water’s supportive environment. Families will learn how to connect with their bodies, breath and explore their mobility in this interactive class combining fun, family time and fitness. Participants for this class must be aged 7 and up and be confident, independent swimmers. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
