Family travelers have even more reason to visit Carowinds’ Camp Snoopy next year. The family-friendly brand launches two new attractions in 2025: a family launch roller coaster and an interactive raft ride. These additions, alongside a meet-and-greet experience with Peanuts costume characters and splash play zones, allow families to have even more ways to enjoy new character experiences and cool off beneath the sun.
What’s in store with these two new attractions?
Charlie Brown’s River Raft Blast
Hop aboard this eight-seater boat at Snoopy’s swimming hole for an adventure with family and friends. Complete with on-board and on-shore water cannons, riders can take part in friendly water skirmishes with other boats, spraying each other while navigating the river channel. Throughout the journey, riders encounter beloved Peanuts characters swimming, floating and splashing.
Snoopy’s Racing Railway
Join Snoopy as he races to deliver root beer and pizza to Camp Snoopy’s Mess Hall where Woodstock and his yellow bird buddies are causing a ruckus. This steel-launch roller coaster accelerates to 31 mph in seconds, an exhilarating experience for all ages. Expect exciting dips and wild turns while racing through the course twice.
Other new enhancements include splash play zones featuring enhanced shade and refreshing water features, allowing all to stay cool and have fun. Guests can also enter the newly remodeled Camp Store to meet Peanuts costume characters at the camp-themed, meet-and-greet area. The space includes log benches, a cozy firepit and more.

Sep 11, 2024Wichita: The Best Little Big City for Families
Wichita may be the biggest city in Kansas, but, as I walked around town, I couldn’t shake the feeling I was in one of the country’s greatest small towns. Perhaps it was the absence of all the things that serve as constant reminders you are in a large city. Instead of crowds, traffic jams and busy people rushing through life, I found clean, wide-open streets and happy, smiling faces — just the kind of place you want to explore with a family.
