You may know all about the world-famous Jean Michel Cousteau Resort
, but did you know you can take the kids for a Kids Sea Camp in the pristine waters of Fiji? Family Divers offers kids and families the unique opportunity to not only enjoy the 5-star stay and stunning location, but to also learn a new skill: diving.
Help the kids be more confident in the water, or show off their already blossoming water-baby skills — either way, the Kids Sea Camp brings families together in Fiji.
Choose from 2019’s remaining slots, Aug. 10–17, or get ahead of the curve for 2020 excursions, hosted Nov. 21–28, 2020.
Each Sea Camp includes a meet-and-greet with the other travelers at Savusavu Airport in the Nadi domestic terminal. Once families arrive, Savusavu is 30-minute flight and 15-minute transfer to the resort. Consider it an adventure before the adventure. Next up, hop on a private island charter, exclusively offered to Kids Sea Camp families. The kids will love it.
Once settled in at the resort, families and divers enjoy a slew of included amenities, all available through the camp and truly incredible resort. Of the many available services included in the Sea Camp, kids can jump on the trampoline, glide through the waterslide, kayak, paddleboard, sail on a catamaran, take a glass-bottom boat tour, enjoy beach picnics, night snorkeling and laying out under the stars at night. For your nature-lovers, everyone on this trip because you’re already surrounded by its incredible beauty, families head out of nature hikes, waterfall hikes, reef flat walking tours and rainforest walks.
Other opportunities showcase more of Fiji’s diverse culture and rich traditions with Fijian medicine walks, mangrove tours, clam farm excursions, a Nukubulavu village trip, medicine man tours and even a trip to the Savusavu farmers market.
There will also be plenty of marine biology presentations, edible landscape tours, shore dives and yoga, as if you wouldn’t be busy enough!
Guests enjoy all three daily meals and seven-night accommodations in the camp price. All guests enjoy included non-alcoholic beverages, espresso coffees, specialty teas, WiFi, off-resort planned excursions, snorkel excursion, round-trip transfers between Savusavu Airport and the resort, Bula Club for Kids throughout your stay (8:30 a.m.–9 p.m.) and even a dedicated nanny for each child aged 5 and younger. Nanny options vary by number of kids and ages.
It might just be easier for you if you check out what’s not included in this unforgettable week-long family trip.
