Dollar Flight Club Launches Enhanced Platform to Help Save on Travel

Affording travel for yourself is hard enough lately, so, if you’re making plans for the whole family, a little help can be a welcome relief. Dollar Flight Club, a membership travel service that helps find affordable flights for customers, recently launched a new platform to make finding affordable, personalized flight options even easier.

So far this year, Dollar Flight Club members have saved approximately $5 million thanks to great savings the program finds, but the upgraded platform promises even more savings, especially important with fuel prices rising so drastically in recent weeks and no clear end in sight.

“Airfare is the most volatile it’s been in years and some routes are down 35 percent while others are surging,” said Jesse Neugarten, founder and CEO, Dollar Flight Club. “This upgrade is about putting the best deal in front of the right person, faster than ever and we’re just getting started.”

There are three core components to the upgraded experience: new filtering and search tools, an interactive map view and enhanced destination recommendations. These tools are designed to help customers find the best deals based on how they actually travel. You can simultaneously search available deals by destination preference, departure airport, price range, airline, flight class and deal type.

The map interface isn’t just an upgrade, it is a brand-new component of the platform that allows users to see which destinations currently offer the best deals from your home airport, perfect if your destination is flexible and budget is a bigger priority. And, last but not least, deals include tips and recommendations for what to do at a destination, when is the best time to go, and partner perks at the destination.

“Now our 3.5 million members don’t just see a price, they see a complete trip picture that helps them go from ‘maybe’ to ‘booked,’” said Neugarten. “Members no longer need to know exactly what they’re looking for; the map, filters and destination pages bring the best opportunities directly into view, making Dollar Flight Club less of a search engine and more of a personal travel scout.”
