Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, Disney Destiny, invites family travelers to experience its new heroes- and villains-inspired ship. Slated to set sail in November 2025, this cruise departs Fort Lauderdale and ventures to the Western Caribbean and Bahamas on four- and five-night cruises.
Spanning 15 decks, this ship immerses passengers in the world of Disney’s most iconic heroes and villains, from Disney to Pixar to Marvel. New lounges highlight Pirates of the Caribbean and the notorious Cruella de Vil.
The ship’s Grand Hall will draw inspiration from the beloved Black Panther films, welcoming guests aboard and beginning the epic duality of heroes and villains, adventure, and relaxation. This space includes a light fixture inspired by Vibranium, the rare, metallic ore found in the fictional nation. A statue of T-Challa, the Black Panther: King of Wakanda, stands over Grand Hall.
Disney Cruise Lines’ first lounge inspired by Doctor Strange, The Sanctum will also feature on this ship, complete with entertainment, a wide array of drink offerings and surprises from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum.
Also a first for Disney Cruise Line, a Marvel Super Hero will be the signature stern character on the ship. This sculpture will showcase Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots. Two guest-favorite experiences from Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, Worlds of Marvel and Marvel Super Hero Academy, will be included on the new ship, too.
Families wishing to splurge can do so in the ship’s Destiny Tower Suite, a Marvel-inspired penthouse honoring Iron Man’s legacy. This unique suite will offer nearly 2,000 square feet of space, views of the top deck and beyond through a two-story window, a full kitchen, en-suite elevator, and space to comfortably sleep eight.
