Multigenerational

St. Barth’s Hôtel Barrière Le Carl Gustaf recently debuted new experiences for guests that are perfect for family travel. The concierge team will organize the activities for guests.

Hiking to Colombier

Discover the most-protected beach on St. Barth on a 20-minute walk to Colombier, on the western tip of the island. The natural reserve is a bit off the beaten path, a lesser-known treasure. It can also be accessed by boat, and the waters are ideal for snorkeling.

Cook My Fish

Head out on a fishing excursion during the day, and find the fresh catch of the day with the family. Once lunch is reeled in, work with one of the resort’s chefs to learn how to prepare the fish with Caribbean recipes and local flavors.

Catamaran Excursion Around the Island

Enjoy a calming afternoon while setting sail on a catamaran ride around the island exploring all the beaches. Included in the experience is a picnic lunch prepared by the resort’s chefs and complimentary Champagne. Half- or full-day options are available, as is a sunset cruise.

Yellow Submarine

Kids will delight in learning more about all the under-sea creatures of St. Barth while on a glass-bottom Yellow Submarine. The one-hour experience will allow visitors to see underwater flora and fauna.

Tennis Lessons

Players of any level can try their skills on the plexicushion tennis courts of Saint Barth Tennis Club. This may be the best time to teach the kids how to play tennis, with both private and group lessons available.

United Airlines Celebrates its First Class of United Aviate Graduates

As the only major U.S. airline to own a flight school, United Airlines already hit a major milestone, and now the carrier celebrates another important — and historic — step as the inaugural class of United Aviate Academy pilots graduates, leading the next generation of aviators. The 51 students in the graduating class were majority, at 80 percent, women and people of color — another stride toward United’s goal of training 5,000 new pilots by 2030 with half women or POC.

Interior Upgrades Begin Rolling Out Across United Fleet

United Airlines is in the midst of a major initiative to modernize its fleet over the next several years. After first announcing the plan in 2021, planes fitted with United’s signature interior are finally beginning to appear across the airline’s narrowbody fleet of Boeing and Airbus planes. United flyers are sure to notice these enhancements from the moment they step on board: Each new or updated plane sports remodeled seats, seatback entertainment screens for everyone, Bluetooth connectivity and more, all adding up to a better experience on every journey.
