There are many reasons to take the family to Canada for a vacation, but the newest attraction may bring out the kid in everyone. The Niagara Speedway is soon to open and will be the first and largest attraction of its kind in Canada. Located on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls, Ontario, the racetrack resembles a life size Mario-Kart track.
Race go-karts through the 40-foot-high, spiral-shaped, multilevel course and back down to the Formula-format racecourse on the ground. The entire track is one-third of a mile and boasts wide lanes for multiple cars to whiz by.
The racetrack is just one of the many new attractions coming to the park. With a new 4D motion theater, zombie exhibit and a Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum, there will be plenty to keep kids and adults of all ages busy. The new track is actually partially inspired by the Heavy Metal High Rise racetrack in Missouri, so it may look familiar for some visitors.
With the park undergoing all new construction and preparing several new unveilings at once, this trip may be best enjoyed in the spring. Head to the known entertainment strip of Niagara Falls, Clifton Hill, for kid fun, games for all ages and entertainment.
Like a county fair with flare, Clifton Hill provides the ultimate juxtaposition to its natural wonder neighbor. This promenade is located conveniently close to Niagara Falls — perfect for a scenic daytrip.
Stop in local attractions from the Niagara SkyWheel with a birds-eye view of the city or head to Fallsview Indoor Waterpark. Stroll through town and explore shops, restaurants and attractions from wax museums and arcades to haunted houses, mini-golf and the Ferris wheel.
With so much activity in the area, it is no wonder this destination is one of Ontario’s most popular.
