After your movie at the El Capitan, head down the street to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum to take some selfies with your favorite celebrities. Spend some time with Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga or Rihanna, and don’t forget to share a laugh with the iconic Betty White. Both your little kids and big kids will love the chance to see their favorite superheroes, like Spiderman, Thor and Captain America, and experience the Marvel Super Heroes 4D Film Adventure. The “Behind the Scenes” exhibit provides insight to the magic behind the wax renderings and an opportunity to learn a little D.I.Y. by making a wax model of your own hand for a souvenir.

Go for a more traditional museum experience by visiting the Hollywood Museum. Located in the historic Max Factor Building, this extensive collection of more than 10,000 authentic pieces of Hollywood history includes props, costumes and even cars from movie and television history. Displays include a Batman exhibit, Marilyn Monroe exhibit and “Halloween: Dungeon of Doom,” a collection of memorabilia from showbiz’s most memorable psychopaths and super villains.

A trip to Universal Studios Hollywood is a must for families looking for fun. Movie magic and theme park fun all rolled into one, there is something to thrill everyone in the family. The back lot tour gives you an up close look at past and current television and movie sets and soundstages so your family can see how their favorite shows are really made. Save some time to explore Hogwarts Castle and the village of Hogsmeade in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. After a long day enjoying rides, visit Universal CityWalk just outside of the park for some shopping and dinner.
