Family travelers can now book sailings aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s new ship, Norwegian Aura. Norwegian Aura is not only the newest, but also the largest ship in its fleet, part of the award-winning Prima Class, and designed for families and multigenerational travelers.

Norwegian Aura is set to embark from Miami starting in June 2027, offering seven-day Caribbean itineraries with stops in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in the Bahamas.

“We are proud to introduce the newest, and largest, addition to our fleet, Norwegian Aura,” said Harry Sommer, president and CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. “Norwegian Aura represents the evolution of Norwegian Cruise Line and the celebration of bringing together families, friends and travelers from around the world. With brilliance and connection at her core, the ship was created to give all guests the freedom to vacation their very own way – offering the chance to exhale, connect and effortlessly escape into the moment. We look forward to this next milestone and can’t wait for guests to experience all that Norwegian Aura has to offer.”

Guests of all ages can expect unforgettable experiences like family-friendly spaces; new onboard experiences; and more room to connect, play and relax together at sea. New options include Ocean Heights, an open-air activities complex offering fun activities during the day before transforming into a laid-back atmosphere at night. Ocean Heights will feature new slides including Eclipse Racers, the brand’s first dueling mat racer waterslides; Aura Free Fall, a drop-in body waterslide where the floor opens below before guests drop; The Wave, a lotus waterslide group raft attraction; Aura Ropes Course; a rock climbing wall; The Drop, a Prima Class signature dry slide spanning 10 decks; and more.

Other popular features include Adventure Alley, Teen Hangout, Little Explorers Club, Kids Aqua Park, Vibe Beach Club and much more.
