Have your family travels ever taken you to LEGOLAND? If so, did your inner child come out and have the urge to pick up your own LEGO set? Now you can turn your passion for building LEGOs into a career. LEGOLAND New York Resort is currently searching for its next Master Model Builder to join other Model Builders working within the park’s brand-new Master Model Builder Experience, opening later this summer season.

The park hosts a Brick Factor Model Builder competition, putting candidates’ skills to the test with creative challenges and timed model builds. Applicants who are picked will compete in first-round challenges at LEGOLAND Discovery Center New Jersey Aug. 7, and finalists will then advance to the final round Aug. 14 at LEGOLAND New York.
Candidates should have a passion for LEGO building, a strong sense of design and drive. The role requires the ability to teach and explain building techniques and ideas in a classroom setting. All Master Model Builders will help design, build and maintain more than 15,000 LEGO models in the park, as well as interact with guests and help provide them with a fun and inclusive environment. This dream job role gives fans the chance to showcase their creativity and imagination in a hands-on role unlike any other.

The lucky winner will be offered a full-time position on site in Goshen, New York, and will get to join the Model Builder team at the park’s new Master Model Builder Experience.
