The Fun Shops experience on Carnival Horizon offers guests a slew of fun shopping opportunities.
Already the carrier of the most families last year, Horizon is a new, family-focused vessel on the cruising scene. Between the upper-deck playground littered with sky-high attractions, including a Dr. Suess-themed water park, an epic slide and pedal bikes riding high in the air — picture a cable car you and the kids move on your own above the ship below.
Now, back to the shopping. The new Shop Fun campaign focuses on Carnival’s attention to detail, fun and customer experiences. With something for all ages and interests, Horizon entices shoppers of all budgets.
Ladies, explore Victoria Secret and spin the wheel for a chance to win a prize; gentleman, head to The Library for a lesson in bowtie tying during the Gentleman’s Guide. Bring your teens and take a lesson in cologne, dressing well and taking care of yourself or bring the little ones to the jewelry shop to make their own custom bracelet.
Kids, teens and adults alike love the Rock Candy event at Swarovski. With a wide variety of bands and charms in all shapes, sizes and materials, guests fill their wrist with personality for $80 or more. Guests building a bracelet receive a complimentary heart charm during their stay.
Looking for something already designed by top brands, head to Le Vian and Hublot for a tax-free, discounted luxury watch and jewelry. Ladies and gentleman both find Le Vian’s chocolate diamonds and men’s rings, smart watches and high-end Hublot timepieces for 10–15 percent cheaper than on land.
Beyond the discounts, find special events happening at each shop nightly. From the Girl’s Night Out Champagne and dance party at Victoria’s Secret to borrowing Le Vian jewelry for a special night on the ship, the shopping experience on Horizon offers fun for guests beyond what you might expect.

Jan 8, 2026What is a Salvaged Stay and How to Plan One
Salvaged stays are an emerging trend in travel that let family travelers enjoy a unique way to experience a destination. Rather than staying in a destination’s big-ticket resort hotel or a cookie-cutter vacation rental, travelers look to the world’s repurposed properties, like abandoned mills and defunct train stations-turned-hotels that have found new life. These renovated properties are a lesson in sustainability and give families a chance to discover a unique view of the history of a destination.
