Batalla del Vino in Haro, Spain: June 27–30

Head to the quaint town of Haro, in the La Rioja region of Spain, for a battle of epic proportions: the Mighty Wine Fight. Batalla del Vino, literally translating to wine fight, is celebrated each year when thousands of wine-loving tourists and locals climb a hillside of Haro to throw wine at each other. Once everyone is soaked, head back into town for an all-ages street party honoring St. Peter’s Feast Day. Expect the cobblestone streets to be filled with fun-loving participants, young and old.

Comic-Con International in San Diego, Calif.: July 19–22

Live out your superhero dreams at the largest pop-culture event in the country, Comic-Con International. Costume-clad super fans fill the convention center July 19–22, collecting photos, autographed memorabilia and crazy memories — expect intensely themed workshops, events and comic-themed parties.

Harley Davidson Birthday Celebration in Milwaukee, Wis.: Aug. 29–Sept. 2

Celebrate Harley Davidson’s 115^th birthday celebration in Milwaukee, Wis., Aug. 29–Sept. 2. The pre-Labor Day Weekend event brings veteran riders and die-hard motorcycle fans out in celebration. Play a few games while enjoying a beer and hit the food trucks before the final bike ride and parade through the city.
