Up Norway Crafts Unique Easter Journey

Family travelers can take part in Norwegian Easter, or påske, a special cultural tradition that sees families and friends retreat to mountain cabins, with Up Norway’s carefully selected collection of accommodations for the holiday. Some of the traditions celebrated at this time include påskekrim (reading crime novels during Easter), påskeleker (Easter games) and hiding chocolate-filled påskeegg in the snow.

“Easter in Norway is a time of pure magic,” said Torunn Tronsvang, founder and chief experience officer, Up Norway. “It’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect with loved ones, and experience kos and the profound beauty of our landscape. Up Norway is uniquely positioned to guide travelers through this extraordinary holiday, offering curated itineraries that go beyond typical tourism and dive deep into the heart of Norwegian culture.”

Up Norway crafts personalized journeys that capture the essence of this tradition. Travel Curators will curate itineraries that delve into Norwegian Easter, like ski touring pristine mountain trails and enjoying time by the fire with Kvikklunsj chocolate and fresh oranges.
