Why All-Inclusives are Ideal for Families

I used to think I would hate staying at all-inclusive resorts. Because my family is usually on the go constantly, I thought my kids and I would get bored after a day or two of doing nothing but swimming and building sandcastles.

However, a few years ago, all of that changed. My family impulsively booked a few days at Beaches Turks and Caicos, and our vacations were never the same. I loved being on autopilot. Because everything was included and the resort had several pools and activities all day long, I never had to think about where we were going for dinner or what the day’s plans were. Without the pressure of being in charge of what we were doing every day, I was truly able to relax and be present with my kids in a way I hadn’t been able to on previous vacations.

The experience made me a convert. Since my first all-inclusive experience, my family has stayed at several other family-friendly all-inclusive resorts. Among our favorites was a stay at another Beaches in Negril, Jamaica. In Cancún, Mexico, we loved staying at Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe and Nickelodeon Resort.

Every family should try an all-inclusive resort at least once. It’s a rare vacation that allows parents and kids alike to truly unwind.

Dollar Flight Club Launches Enhanced Platform to Help Save on Travel

Affording travel for yourself is hard enough lately, so, if you’re making plans for the whole family, a little help can be a welcome relief. Dollar Flight Club, a membership travel service that helps find affordable flights for customers, recently launched a new platform to make finding affordable, personalized flight options even easier.

Best of Both Worlds

Enjoy the best of both worlds when you fly with TAP Air Portugal thanks to the Portugal Stopover program. With the program, TAP passengers, whether traveling for business, leisure or both, can stop in Portugal for up to 10 days at no additional airfare on the way to their final destination. What does this mean for travelers wishing to explore by both land and sea? It means after flying to Portugal with TAP and experiencing the country in an entirely new way, travelers can then embark on scenic river and ocean cruises from  Portugal’s port cities, or fly with TAP to another European destination.

Multi-Generational Travel Reimagined at Sensei

Multigenerational travel doesn’t always entail families with younger children; it can also involve young adult children traveling with their parents and grandparents. Although many hotels and resorts tend to focus more on the younger children side of multigenerational family trips, Sensei is helping older generations form a new connection through workshops and wellness.
