Age Specific / Kids

Dressing up for Halloween and collecting candy is what dreams are made of for kids — and, sometimes, those in their teens. Add in the special attention to detail kids and parents come to expect from LEGOLAND, and the spooky season gets a lot more fun.

With the help of the unBOOlivable LEGO Halloween Party, LEGOLAND’s annual month-long celebration and Brick-Or-Treat extravaganza, Halloween season is even sweeter for the kids.

Hosted at locations in WestchesterPhiladelphia and Boston, LEGOLAND brings the fun frights for all ages, with an emphasis on immersive activities for the little ones — nothing actually scary, just good clean fun, block building and themed events for the kids.

The fun includes unique Halloween LEGO builds, fun giveaways, scare-venger hunts and LEGO pumpkin patches. Your kids, even the unruly little ones, will be busy with fun and excitement across a variety of activities.

Not your first time around the LEGO block? There’s still something new to see. This year, the all-new Hidden Side allows families to explore the Discovery Center in an immersive way with a ghost-hunting AR app! All ages can join in on the fun — think Pokémon Go, but LEGOs and ghosts — Sept. 28–Oct. 27. Play along while holding up your mobile device to LEGO builds while interacting with points of possession. Capture the virtual ghosts and stop the haunting while exploring some limited-time LEGOs.

Included in the fun, families can find new activities every weekend to explore with the kids.

Build Halloween worlds with Brick-or-Treat activities, or head to the MINILAND to see LEGO skeletons and ghosts running wild. The kids can chase the haunted blocks down with scare-venger hunt cards and feel like a part of the scene.

Pictures are inevitable, but tweens will definitely want to get in on the Spooktacular Selfies. Encourage the kids to dress in their Halloween best and snap selfies near the larger-than-life LEGO models and grab fun LEGO costume props.

One thing your family won’t be able to avoid during the holiday season — Boo-tiful Halloween Builds. The spooky structures are a great way to get the kids in the spirit of Halloween without all the scares. Watch master model builders participate and compete in a building competition and fill up on snacks and sweets along the way.
