Cruising

Head out on an incredible family cruise with the help of Autism on the Seas. In partnership with Royal Caribbean since 2007, the cruise vacation service seeks to accommodate adults, families and children living with special needs.

Engage your family and friends with interactive adventures, sightseeing and even educational services provided on select ships. Mix and mingle with families living with autism, Asperger’s, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and all cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or opt for a more privatized family experience.

Choose to cruise with or without specialty staff onboard. Staffed cruises include private sessions and activities with expertly trained staff ranging from one–three hours at a time. Check out the site’s full list of accommodations, services and activities for a wide range of needs.

Some guests prefer to cruise on their own, without professional assistance. Once you have your destination and travel schedule in mind, check out the Cruise Assistance Package and various cruises available. This option is offered on all of the major cruise lines and is a free service available upon booking.
