Expect all-new services, from dining and cocktail options to collaborations with the beloved Finnish characters, Moomins. The new service concept is expected to feel more like restaurant dining in flight. Guests have a wider variety of dining and wine options available — all served on-demand, rather than the usually allotted service time. Guests can rest easy as they’re not missing the drink cart and enjoy snack service and cocktails on their time.
Enjoy Finnish fare and traditional offerings including a full kahvikutsut service. Perfect for coffee and dessert lovers on long-haul flights, kahvikutsut is a traditional Finnish coffee served with seven different desserts including a variety of cinnamon buns, coffee and crumb cakes, Finnish chocolates and carnelian pies. Enjoy the special service between meals beginning Feb. 7, 2018.

Flights to Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo experience the all-new dining service of Finnair along with Moomin imagery and free swag for kids. Even if your family isn’t familiar with the Finnish characters now, they will be after the flight. Kids traveling through Finnair use their own Moomin check-in counter at security and receive a magic ticket to keep along with their luggage tag and surprise gifts once onboard. Watch the Moomin animation series in flight with the kids and rifle through their exclusive amenity kit.
Check out the aircraft’s newly redesigned interior, complete with sleek seating and stylish details on the seat covers, blankets, pillows and flatware. The concept will gradually be introduced on early 2018 flights and eventually roll out to remaining long-haul destinations by spring.
Peruse the refreshed seasonal menu prepared by award-wining Swedish chefs, inspired by classic Nordic and Asian cuisine. With a decent blend of family-friendly additions and high-end services, Finnair’s revamp covers all travelers.
