This Valentine’s Day, give your little ones a Bumpa, a weighted plush doll that hugs you back for soft, cozy comfort. The doll’s weighted hands are shaped as half a heart, so when they are joined together, they create a full heart, perfect for Valentine’s Day.
“Hugging is loving,” said Drew Matilsky, creator, Bumpas, and co-founder, Uglydolls. “Giving and getting hugs is a sign of trust and love. I created Bumpas to give people of all ages a product that can love, hug, and protect them.”
Bumpas features a deep, plush exterior for a soft and cozy sensory feel. The dolls feature long arms and include about 3 pounds of weight, perfect for hands-free hugs, emotional support and a sense of love and security. The dolls also have wide-open, oval eyes on the back of their head, so while your child holds them, they can make sure your kid feels protected and safe while also watching your child’s back. The front of the doll features closed eyes to express the joy of getting a hug.
There are four Bumpas characters, each having their own color, personality and background. Choose from the creative and quirky Shin Shin, daring and adventurous Zeek, gentle and soulful Oz, and cheery and encouraging Lucky.
Whether you want to give the gift to a loved one, family member or yourself, Bumpas are perfect for anyone and can be purchased at FAOSchwartz.com, LearningExpress.com Amazon.com, Macys.com and Walmart.com
“Love is something we all crave. I created the dolls specifically to address the feeling that we all have when someone looks out for us, puts their arms around us, and tells us everything will be fine,” added Matilsky. “Bumpas dolls express love and are always there for you. Let’s share the Bumpas love with the phrase my heart is yours #myheartisyours.”
