Dubai is known for over-the-top indulgence and with each unveiling of a new attraction or luxury resort, they seem to outdo themselves. This definitely seems to be the case with Dubai’s latest offering, Atlantis the Royal, the ultimate spot for family travelers looking for luxurious experiences.
The hotel is an architectural wonder, made of six towers comprised of what look like giant building blocks — a child’s creation reimagined into a luxurious playground. The property will offer some of the world’s best restaurants, bars, nightclubs and an impressive list of entertainment and attractions, all overlooking the beautiful beaches and blue waters of the Persian Gulf.
The resort’s 795 rooms, which include 44 luxury suites and signature penthouses complete with infinity pools, were designed with careful consideration of absolutely every detail, including the pillows. A special pillow menu allows guests to select the ideal pillow type to enhance their sleep experience at the resort.
Atlantis the Royal will be home to 17 different restaurants offering a variety of world-class cuisines, including eight celebrity chef-led dining experiences from the likes of Nobu and Costas Spiliadis. Guests will be able to observe 4,000 jellyfish in the 21-foot-tall aquarium in the Resonance by Heston Blumenthal cocktail bar, watch a spectacular water and fire show featuring a unique presentation each time, and swim in the rooftop pool on the 22nd floor.
Atlantis the Royal is scheduled to open this month after a three-day gala event in January that cemented its place in the world of high-end luxury. The Grand Reveal included a special invite-only performance by Beyoncé; Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila launch; and the ‘Feast of Dreams’ event, which featured tastings from six of the hotel’s celebrity chefs.
