Now that the holidays are behind us, it is time to look toward spring break. For some, that may be the beach. But, for others, it’s time to travel West and hit the slopes. We took a look around and found these springtime savings for you to enjoy.
Colorado
In Keystone, save up to 40 percent on accommodations with rates starting at just $129 a night at Keystone Resort’s River Run Village. The Spring Savings don’t end there, however. Kids 12 and under ski free every day, all season long, with a two- or more night stay, and when you book directly, you receive Play for Free amenities such as free ice skating and a free yoga or fitness class. What’s more, there are two ice skating rinks, sleigh rides and more for loads of family fun.
Take a Breck Break in Breckenridge through March 11 and enjoy some of the biggest savings of the season, including up to 30 percent off lodging; rates at the Village Hotel start at $175 a night. Imagine all the slopes you and your family can tackle on the five mountain peaks.
The longer you stay, the more you’ll save at Beaver Creek. If you stay between one and three nights, you’ll save up to 10 percent on your accommodations; stay four to six nights and you’ll save 20 percent; for stays of seven nights or more, save up to 30 percent. There are plenty of options from which to choose, including resorts and condos, many slopeside or within walking distance to the slopes.
If your sights are on Vail for your spring travel plans, there are a couple of ways to save while living it up on the slopes. Vail All Access Offer is loaded with discounted lodging rates of up to 30 percent through March 9. What’s more, Spring Back to Vail is a terrific way to experience all of the family fun to be had, including Adventure Ridge with ski bikes, a kid’s snowmobile track, rip-roaring tubing lanes and more.
Lake Tahoe
The Village at Squaw Valley has a host of specials that run well into the spring to make the most of your spring break trip out West. The Midweek Lift and Lodging Special (valid through April 15) includes two nights’ stay Sunday through Thursday and two adult two-day lift tickets. Get your fourth night free through the season, and you can even get two adult four-day lift tickets! Your kids can ski free, too, when you book two nights’ accommodations slopeside; stay midweek and save 30 percent on your stay.
