This miniature attraction, known as the world’s largest miniature railway, is big on imagination and wonder. Depicting a world in miniature, complete with trains, planes and boats weaving through perfect replicas of Europe, Scandinavia, America and more, this place perfectly depicts miniature simulations of real-world destinations and climates. This family-friendly attraction draws visitors of all ages around the world and gives kids the chance to see the world through a single visit to Hamburg.
Chocoversum
What kid doesn’t like chocolate? What adult, for that matter? At Chocoversum, Hamburg’s chocolate museum, take a guided tour to learn all about how the confection is made. For an added bonus, you get to enjoy some sweet samples along the way.
Planten un Blomen
Located a short walk from Rathaus, Planten un Blomen is one of the city’s prettiest parks. Providing an urban oasis, it is not only a great way to give the kids some fresh air, but it also lets you experience a city landmark of a platanus tree dating back to the 1800s. The park’s beautiful landscape and soothing water features are a great place to explore year-round.
