EL AL Israel Airlines recently introduced EL AL Young, a new program for young family travelers featuring a dedicated app mode and exclusive benefits within Matmid frequent-flyer program, tailored for children and teens ages 2–18. The interactive app serves as a digital playground where young passengers watch videos, play games and learn about aviation. And all while earning loyalty points every time they fly with EL AL!
To participate, parents can register children for EL AL Young starting at age 2. Youth travelers then can:
- Gain access to a curated Youth Mode in the EL AL app that is filled with content
- Play games while using the app and in flight
- Earn points by flying on EL AL or Sundor
“EL AL Young is a game-changer for family travel, while making every journey more fun and engaging,” said Nadav Hanin, VP Marketing and Digital, EL AL Israel Airlines. “With this program, EL AL Airlines is inspiring the next generation of travelers by allowing them to earn their own points, explore Youth Mode on the EL AL app, and enjoy more independence and excitement when traveling with EL AL. Family travel has always been at the heart of our business, and with EL AL Young, we’re strengthening that bond while creating unforgettable adventures for travelers of all ages.”
The points can be redeemed for exciting rewards like seat upgrades and free checked baggage, award tickets with friends, and snacks from onboard duty free.
Parents can sign up as many children as they have for EL AL Young for free. View children’s points through each participant’s dedicated accounts. Points accrued will be valid until age 21.
