Families headed to San Diego are undoubtedly looking forward to great weather and popular attractions like San Diego Zoo, Legoland and Sea World. But there is a whole city (and beyond) awaiting with plenty of ways to have fun as a family. And, thankfully, there is an innovative product that can make exploring the city fun and easy for families.

Go Deck offers a series of city activity guides designed like decks of playing cards. Each pack contains 52 cards that give you great ideas for outdoor adventures, including activities like hikes and bike rides taking you to nature reserves, parks, scenic spots, lakeside trails and just plain fun places to explore. Each card starts with a beautiful picture on the front, but flip it over and you get all sorts of information about the location (like where the spot is, what you can do there, if there are restrooms available, whether or not it is accessible and if it is dog friendly).

These packs are designed to get you outdoors in a capacity that works for you, with a clear understanding that exploring the outdoors looks different for everyone. In other words, you’ve got plenty of options for fun (and usually free) activities to choose from. The goal is to get out, to move, to explore and to have fun. The playing card format of these decks is also ideally designed to get kids involved in planning activities.

The San Diego deck gives you 52 ideas for in and around the city, or you can pick up the North County deck which includes 52 more ideas for the surrounding region. Other decks include Seattle, Minnesota’s Twin Cities and Knoxville. Or you can pick up a pack of outdoor game cards, a scavenger hunt activity and more.
