The Jersey Shore has plenty of beach towns perfect for a fun-filled, summer family vacation. Check out this list of the best to help jumpstart vacation planning.

Ocean City

Known as America’s favorite family resort, Ocean City is the perfect place for a summer family vacation. Spend the day splashing and relaxing on the beautiful beaches, then hit the boardwalk for a night of great food, fun games, thrilling rides and more. Some must-visit attractions and shops are Dot’s Pastry Shop, Kessels Korner, Piccini’s for crab pizza and Castaway Cove on the boardwalk for thrilling rides.

The Wildwoods

Just a little further down the coast, family-friendly The Wildwoods has miles of beautiful beaches, delicious restaurants and thrilling rides and games. While chilling and relaxing on the beach, make sure to take a dip in the ocean to cool off a little bit so you don’t overheat. Don’t forget to hit the boardwalk at night for countless rides and fun at Morey’s Pier. If the beach isn’t your thing, hit Morey’s Pier Waterpark for slides, a lazy river and fun in the sun.

Cape May

With a rich history and plenty of fun activities, Cape May has something to offer the whole family. The miles of pristine beaches are the perfect place for families to kick back and relax during the day. After showering after a day at the beach, head out for a delicious meal at one of Cape May’s fabulous restaurants.

Belmar

If you are looking for the perfect beach for a daytrip, Belmar is your town. The beaches span miles and there is plenty of room for everyone to find the perfect spot for their day at the beach. There is plenty of free parking, but if you want a closer spot, there is paid parking along the boardwalk. Try to get there early to get a good spot.
