The holiday season is here and it’s time to spread some holiday cheer! And that is exactly what Universal Studios Orlando Resort
intends.
There is no better place for a mind-blowing, mischievous, action-packed, adventurous holiday vacation than Universal. The theme park is pulling out all the hits for this holiday season in order to spread cheer to visitors.
Celebrate the holidays with characters from all of your favorite films as they bring the merry and mayhem in both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. There will be no holiday parade this year, but you can still get closer than ever to larger-than-life Macy’s balloons and Christmas floats at the all-new “Universal’s Holiday Experience with Macy’s Balloons.” Snap a picture with these beloved giant floats and don’t forget to say hi and take a picture with Santa Claus on your way out.
While in Universal Studios, keep your eye out for some of your favorite characters from Dreamwork’s Shrek, the Madagascar franchise, and the Minions from Despicable Me spreading some mayhem and holiday cheer.
Over in Islands of Adventure, celebrate Christmas with the Grinch and the residents of Whoville as they say hello.
Don’t forget to take the Hogwarts Express to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for even more holiday cheer. Enjoy festive holiday decorations and brilliant lights leading you down Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. Sip on some delicious hot Butterbeer while browsing through the special holiday merchandise. In Diagon Alley, enjoy a special holiday show from Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees, and then head over to Hogsmeade for seasonal performances from The Frog Choir.
Guests can also enjoy seasonal merchandise, sweets, treats and holiday décor — the perfect backdrop to snap a holiday picture in the park.
