When it comes to family travel these days, parents (and kid) want more than a hotel with a pool or splash pads. Instead, families seek unique and immersive experiences, often in the hopes of sparking a new skill or passion that extends long after the trip ends.
Now, one hotel in the Caribbean lets kids step inside one of their favorite TV shows. Dreams Cap Cana, a Hyatt All-Inclusive Resort in the Dominican Republic, partners with MasterChef Junior, bringing fun experiences to guests. Every Friday, Chef Jorge has his team host a real-life MasterChef Junior competition where young chefs can tackle mystery box challenges, racing against the clock to craft dishes from fresh, local ingredients.

Kid chefs can recreate exclusive recipes from previous MasterChef Junior contestants Ivy (season 8 semifinalist) and Brysan (season 9 winner), such as dishes like peanut butter mousse pie and Jacki O’Chicken.
The partnership makes the experience more than just another hotel kids’ club activity; it encourages young guests to try new food, build confidence in the kitchen and discover skills they can take home with them.
Beyond this exclusive partnership, Dreams Cap Cana offers a wide range of other exciting and relaxing experiences, including swim-out suites, beachfront pools, spa and lively Juanillo Seafood Festival.
